A rare catalog of the “Spazialismo” exhibition held at the Galleria La Fontana in Savona in February–March 1971, produced in collaboration with the renowned Galleria del Naviglio in Milan, the epicenter of the Spazialismo movement founded by Lucio Fontana. Copy numbered ‘15’. Rare numbered catalog (copy no. 15) of the ‘Spazialismo’ exhibition at the Galleria La Fontana in Savona, February–March 1971. A document of exceptional historical importance: it contains the complete reprint of the Sixth Manifesto of the Spatialist Movement for Television, proclaimed in Milan on May 17, 1952, and signed by Lucio Fontana along with Ambrosini, Burri, Crippa, Deluigi, De Toffoli, Dova, Donati, Giancarozzi, Guidi, Joppolo, La Regina, Milena Milani, Morucchio, Peverelli, Tancredi, and Vianello. The cover features a striking photographic reproduction of a work with the characteristic ‘holes’ that defined the Spatialist aesthetic. The interior opens with a prophetic quote by Umberto Boccioni from 1914, underscoring the ideological continuity between the Futurist avant-garde and post-war Spatialism. A document of considerable historical and artistic interest for the study of the movement that revolutionized the concept of space in 20th-century art. Paperback in generally good condition with normal signs of wear for its age.
