Bears autograph manuscript dedication dated Paris, 5 June 1952: 'to dear K.S. / memory of Paris / from Th.' Scattered foxing, small marginal tear to first leaf, cover slightly browned but solid. Edmond Charlot, the legendary publisher of Camus in Algiers, published this collection during the final years of the Second World War, making accessible to French-speaking readers the classics of medieval Italian lyric poetry.
