Lucio Fontana Exhibition at the Galleria del Cavallino in Venice, signed

Rare original catalog of Lucio Fontana’s 395th exhibition at the Galleria del Cavallino in Venice, curated by Carlo Cardazzo, September–October 1957. A folded brochure with a cover illustrated by a ceramic “Spatial Concept,” a critical essay by Franco Russoli, and a photograph of the artist in his studio. EXCEPTIONAL COPY with the artist’s autograph signature “fontana” and a small original red-pen drawing on the back cover: geometric lines and a triangle typical of the Spatialist research of the period. The combination of a historical document from the Cardazzo Gallery and the artist’s autograph makes this copy a unique piece of great interest to Fontana collectors and scholars of Venetian Spatialism.
