Copy no. 81 of a limited edition of 199 copies on fine handmade laid paper with ragged edges. The work contains 12 original drawings by the Trieste-born surrealist artist, one of the most significant interpreters of Sadean imagery in the 20th century. Fini, a central figure in Parisian Surrealism, translated the most transgressive pages of the Divine Marquis with extraordinary erotic and visionary sensitivity.
