Gianni Bertini: Abbaco or Exemplarism

Rare catalogue-invitation for Gianni Bertini's solo exhibition 'Abbaco or Exemplarism' at the Centro Annunciata in Milan, January 1979. Four-page folded leaflet with illustrated cover featuring the artist's characteristic magenta graphic logo. Significant document for the presence of critical contributions from central figures of Italian art of the late twentieth century: Pierre Restany, theorist of Nouveau Réalisme, Giulio Carlo Argan, art historian and future mayor of Rome, Gillo Dorfles, Emilio Tadini, Giancarlo Politi founder of Flash Art. Bertini (Pisa 1922 - Paris 2010) was among the protagonists of Mec-Art and Nouveau Réalisme, active between Milan and Paris. Copy in good condition, paper slightly yellowed consistent with age.
