Emilio Vedova. Exhibition of Paintings

Catalogue of the solo exhibition of Emilio Vedova (Venice 1919-2006), master of Italian Informalism and central figure of European abstract expressionism, held at the Galerija Sebastian in Belgrade in November 1983. Publication curated by Ljuba Gamulin with artistic direction by Živa Kraus, printed in Zagreb. Distinctive cover in rough kraft cardboard with the artist's name impressed in red characters and the gallery logo, design typical of Yugoslav editorial aesthetics of the 1980s. The catalogue documents a significant moment in the international dissemination of Vedova's work in Eastern European countries during the period of socialist Yugoslavia. Copy in good conservation condition, testimony to the network of cultural exchanges between Italy and the Balkans in the late twentieth century.
