A monographic issue entirely dedicated to Lucio Fontana, a central figure of Spatialism and one of the most celebrated Italian artists of the 20th century. The issue features four previously unpublished letters by the artist—a document of considerable interest to scholars—accompanied by critical essays by Isabella Amaduzzi, Roberta Felici, Gina Lagorio, Milena Milani, Paolo Rusconi, and Mario Rossello. The cover is illustrated with a photographic reproduction of a ceramic work by Fontana (Concetto Spaziale in terracotta). The issue is rounded out by essays on Giorgio Caproni and Camillo Sbarbaro, poems, and a tribute by Angelo Marchese.
