Salvador Aulestia

Rare Mexican publication of 1953 that brings together ten original ink drawings and ten poems by Salvador Aulestia, a prominent figure in bullfighting criticism and Basque diplomacy in exile. The yellow cover features a dynamic cubist-expressionist drawing signed and dated by the author, depicting the bullfight in a modernist key. Presumably very limited edition, intended for a select audience of aficionados and literati. Copy in good general condition, with normal patina of age.
