Copy enhanced by an autograph dedication from André Verdet to Milano Milani with drawing, celebrated Italian art critic and writer, with original pen drawings occupying the entire title page. Verdet (1913-2004), French poet and painter, was an intimate friend of Picasso, Chagall and Matisse, and this collaboration with Tuscan engraver Luciano Pera testifies to his connections with the Italian artistic milieu. Grey-blue publisher's wrappers with white titling, in good general condition. A refined example of an Italian-French livre d'artiste with significant literary association.
