Copy with author's autograph inscription on the endpaper: 'to Milena / Calvino', addressed in all probability to Milena Milani, writer and avant-garde artist, friend of Calvino during his Turin period. Association copy of great biographical and collecting interest. Wear to the edges of the cover, scattered foxing, overall in good condition. A precious document from the first period of Calvino's narrative work.
