First edition, copy No. IV of the prestigious special printing of only 50 numbered copies in Roman numerals (I-L), enriched by an original engraving signed in pencil by the artist, out of a total of 1500 copies. Printed by Maestri Arti Grafiche of Milan in August 1966. The engraving, numbered 4/25, depicts a female figure in the expressionist style typical of Cantatore's graphic production. Copy enhanced by a significant autograph dedication by the artist dated Milan, July 1985, addressed to Milena Milani, writer and art critic of primary importance in the Italian cultural landscape of the twentieth century, intimate friend of numerous artists of the period. Original publisher's wrappers in good general condition. A document of considerable interest for the history of Apulian art and for the relationships between artists and intellectuals in postwar Italy.
