Mimmo Rotella - Poems

Rare first edition of the poems of Mimmo Rotella (Catanzaro 1918 - Milan 2006), master of décollage and cardinal figure of Nouveau Réalisme. Copy no. 868 of a limited edition of 1000 copies, enhanced by an extraordinary autograph dedication from the artist to Milena Milani, dated Rome 30 January 1984, just ten days after printing. Milani, a writer and artist herself, was a protagonist of the Italian avant-garde and intimate friend of the Roman-Milanese artistic circle. The original postal envelope, preserved with period stamp and Rotella's autograph address, constitutes an epistolary document of considerable interest.
