Marino Marini: Etchings and Lithographs / Giorgio De Chirico: Sculptures and Recent Graphic Works

Rare pair of exhibition catalogues from the Galleria Blumen in Lugano, 1975, dedicated to two giants of twentieth-century Italian art: Marino Marini (etchings and lithographs) and Giorgio De Chirico (sculptures and recent graphic works). Elegant Swiss graphic design with rigid cardboard covers and silver serigraphy of the gallery's characteristic circular logo. Preserved in the original grey cardboard case with blue paper interior flaps. The exhibitions were held at Villa Malpensata in Lugano in spring-summer 1975. Photographs by Franco Cisterna and Nino Molino, layout by G. Fioravanti for G&R Associati. Significant document of the exhibition activity of the Ticino gallery and the dissemination of Italian art in Switzerland in the 1970s. General condition good with normal patina of age.
