Franco Gentilini - Commemorative Exhibition of Visit to Japan

Rare catalogue of the solo exhibition of Franco Gentilini (Faenza 1909 - Rome 1981) held at the Fuji Art Gallery in Tokyo in November 1969, on the occasion of the artist's visit to Japan. Publication co-organized by the prestigious Galleria del Naviglio of Milan. Original cover with Italian tricolor design. Copy enhanced by the artist's autograph dedication on the cover: 'To Milena affectionately Gentilini'. Gentilini, central figure of the Scuola Romana, was at the height of his international fame in 1969. Significant document of post-war Italian-Japanese cultural relations.
