Rare catalogue of Gianni Bertini's solo exhibition at Galleria Blu in Milan, January-February 1979, the third exhibition of the 1978-1979 artistic season. The title 'Already Twenty Years' celebrates with typical Bertinian irony the twenty years since the Pisan artist's first solo Milan exhibition. Includes the original critical text by Franco Russoli from September 1957, a key figure in Italian post-war art criticism. Copy of particular documentary interest for the presence of pages from a 1957 agenda with contemporary handwritten annotations relating to the original opening, which testify to the preparation of the event and the artist's contacts. Galleria Blu, founded in 1957 on Via Senato, was one of the most influential spaces for contemporary art in Milan. Bertini (Pisa 1922 - Paris 2010) was a protagonist of Nouveau Réalisme and Mec-Art, a movement he founded in 1965.
