Antique Italian Chest of Drawer Tuscan

Antique Italian walnut bench or chest of drawers from Tuscany. It is dated to the late 1500s. The wood of the chest of drawers has been beautifully worked with ornamental carvings and allegorical shapes. Note the feet also made of walnut wood and also carved. The dresser opens with a flap door, and inside is the lining with an original floral motif of the period.
